The editorial board is a well organic entity which provides the appropriate and effective comments, suggestions and materials to the authors as well as the reviewers in a kind, rapid and respective way in every project which I have gotten involved in.

ATM has great educational value. Systematic reviews are provided by this issue, involving current important, and the hottest topics ,which may inspire both clinicians and laboratory investigators.

As an orthopaedic and trauma surgeon, I have found this journal of particular interest in many subjects involving my fields of expertise, from basic science to surgical techniques. As Guest Editor of the journal, I appreciated the way in inviting authors, in soliciting in a kind and rapid way.

As an associate Editor-in-Chief of ATM, I am proud to say that the journal is very unique in its incorporation of several different formats and reader participation. Having had first-hand experience with the editorial team and office I can honestly say that all contact and interactions have been close, fluid and efficient. Thanks to its hard working editors and staff, the journal has a very high production rate, publishing many high quality articles every month.

The journal sits at the interface of disciplines as diverse as gastroenterology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, tumor pathology and tumor biology; bringing people from different specialties together under one umbrella. This is all the more necessary when disciplines do not overlap in terms of researcher cross-training or vocabularies and terminologies.
