Submission of post-publication critique

You can submit a post-publication critique via this site.

As AME Publishing Company is a publisher member of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), all AME journals’ post-publication discussion will be handled in accordance with the COPE Core practices for handling post-publication critique: https://publicationethics.org/resources/flowcharts/handling-post-publication-critiques.

Besides, AME journals’ policy for managing allegations of research misconduct (https://www.amegroups.com/pages/allegations-of-research-misconduct-policy#content-title) is based on the guidelines of the COPE, the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

To balance potential conflicting factors, specification of a threshold must be met we will conduct investigation into the complaint. Elements of this threshold may include:

i. Identification of a specific, nontrivial act of potential professional critique during the research or publication process. Differences in professional opinion or disputes that are purely of a personal or legal nature are not within the purview of the journal’s investigation process.
